Description

The UG56 from Milesight is a LoRaWAN Gateway, suitable for connecting various LoRaWAN sensors in an industrial environment.

This LoRaWAN gateway supports 8 channels and, by using the SX1302 LoRa-chip and powerful ARM Cortex-35 processor, can connect up to 2000 sensors. The UG56 has been developed to provide coverage for industrial applications and can easily be integrated with various network servers.

In addition, this gateway also supports a built-in network server and MQTT/HTTP/HTTPS API, for easy stand-alone implementation. There is also support for secondary development with the Python SDK, and user-friendly programming via the Node-RED development tool. This enables Edge Computing and allows other applications to be connected, such as Siemens PLCs.

The gateway also has BACnet/IP support, allowing the LoRaWAN sensors to be easily added to a building management system (BMS).

The gateway has a robust and IP30-certified housing and is optimized for wall or DIN-rail mounting. The LoRaWAN gateway can be powered via the power supply or Power-over-Ethernet.
