Description

The Milesight TS602-L0DEU is a wireless sensor interface that performs measurements via a connected external probe and makes this measurement data available for remote monitoring. Unlike sensors with built-in measurement, the connected probe determines what is measured, such as temperature or humidity. This allows you to measure precisely at specific points, such as in products, pipes or enclosed spaces.

The TS602-L0DE works via 4G LTE (Cat 1) and operates fully independently without a gateway. The sensor reads measurement values from external sensors via the M12 connection and makes this data available in an IoT platform. The sensor reads measurement values via an external probe, allowing you to choose the desired type of sensor for each application. Configuration is done via NFC, which simplifies installation and management in the field.

How does the Milesight TS602 work in practice?

In practice, the TS602 is widely used in situations where standard measurements are not sufficient. Think of cold chain monitoring where product temperatures need to be measured, industrial processes where sensors are needed at specific measurement points, or storage environments where accuracy depends on the position of the sensor. Thanks to the external probe, this sensor is suitable for applications where flexibility in measurement is essential.

The TS602-L0DEU is designed for reliable use in industrial and logistics environments, with a robust IP67housing and support for datalogging during temporary network loss.

Key benefits

Application & use

When to use

For remote monitoring at locations where no local network infrastructure or gateway is present.
When specific measurements in pipes, products or enclosed spaces are required via external probes.
In situations where continuous data availability is crucial, supported by internal storage during network outages.

Ideal for

Cold chain logistics for accurately monitoring product temperatures during transport or storage.
Industrial process monitoring where sensors must be placed at specific, hard-to-reach measurement points.
Storage facilities requiring a high degree of accuracy based on specific sensor positions.
Managers of remote installations looking for a standalone monitoring solution via 4G.

Not suitable for

Applications that exclusively use built-in sensors without external probes.
Environments where only LoRaWAN connectivity is permitted or desired.
