Description

The EM400-MUD-N03GL from Milesight is a multifunctional NB-IoT ultrasonic distance sensor, suitable for everything from monitoring waste bins to managing parking spaces.

The multifunctional sensor detects the occupancy of parking spaces using high-frequency sound waves for timely notifications of incoming and outgoing vehicles, so that the occupancy status of the parking space is up-to-date and reliable.

The sensor also supports fill-level monitoring for medium-sized or large waste containers. With an ultrasonic sensor to detect overflowing waste, a built-in 3-axis accelerometer to detect the status of the waste bin lid and a built-in NTC thermistor to detect waste combustion.

The IP67-rated housing ensures that the sensor is protected against dust, water and other environmental hazards, making it resistant to harsh environments. The PCBA is also coated, providing an extra layer of protection against moisture, dust and other contaminants that can damage electronic components.

By default, the EM400-MUD-N03GL comes with batteries, mounting kit and a 2-year warranty.
