Milesight VS126-P

Description

The Milesight VS126 L0EGL is a people counter that measures the number of present and passing people in a space. The sensor is mounted at a height between 6 and 15 metres and uses stereo vision to count people across a large area. It does not use cameras and is therefore fully GDPR-compliant.

The VS126-P is connected via a single network cable and powered with PoE (Power over Ethernet). The sensor makes counting data directly available via MQTT and HTTP, so it can easily be integrated into IoT–platforms and other software systems. Connection to existing installations is easy to achieve, so data can be combined with other sources within the same environment.

How does the Milesight VS126-PoE work in practice?

In practice, the VS126-P is deployed in environments with high ceilings and large surfaces, such as shopping centres, airports, warehouses and event venues. Because it is mounted at height, a single sensor can monitor a large area, so less hardware is needed to achieve full coverage. This makes the people counter suitable for locations where overview and scale are important.

The VS126-P is designed for reliable measurements in dynamic environments with varying light conditions. The sensor delivers consistent counting data that can be used within existing analysis and management systems.
