Milesight VS135-P-High

Description

The Milesight VS135-P-High is a people counter that uses ToF technology and AI to accurately detect and count people. The sensor recognises people based on distance and position and can measure both incoming and outgoing movements as well as the number of present people within a space or zone. Thanks to support for Power over Ethernet (PoE), the sensor can be connected with a single network cable for both power and data, which simplifies installation.

The VS135-P-High is ceiling-mounted and is suitable for various ceiling heights up to 6.5 metres. The sensor sends data over LoRaWAN and can easily be integrated into existing networks. Functions such as bidirectional counting, zone detection and dwell-time analysis provide additional insight into how people move through a space and how long they stay somewhere. For accurate operation, correct placement is important, taking into account the environment and any reflective or transparent surfaces.

In practice, the VS135-P-High is used in environments such as retail, offices, airports and public buildings. The sensor makes it possible to analyse visitor numbers, monitor crowds and gain insight into the use of specific zones. This data can be used as input for, for example, facility planning, optimisation of cleaning or controlling HVAC systems.

The VS135 is designed for reliable operation in a wide range of situations and is suitable for indoor– and semi-outdoor applications. Because the sensor works completely anonymously without image storage, it is suitable for privacy-sensitive environments and is therefore GDPR-compliant. In combination with a gateway and IoT platform or building management system, the solution is easily scalable and centrally manageable.
